6 Months

Well not much to report this month. I haven't had my shots yet and my reflux continues to be a problem. Mom got my gas under control but the reflux just won't go away no matter what mom and dad try. Some days are better than others. I haven't had my 6 month doctor appointment since the Army doesn't get people in fast enough so when I find out my height and weight I will write again! Here are a few photos I have to share though!

thanks aunt jo!

look what i found unpacking!

so tired, i fell sleep holding my bed... and slept like that most of the night!

mom says to smile...

Last night Jonathan took Juliana and I to the drive in to see the new Batman flick. Juliana slept in my arms the whole time and it's great being able to have "date night" without trying to find a sitter! You should have seen the place, it was PACKED! The line of cars looked like the movie Field of Dreams when a line of headlights stretched for as far as you could see. Who new drive ins were still so popular? Well, when we got home, Jonathan went to change Juliana for bed and I started washing bottles. When I was done and went in to say good night she was in the cutest little onezie Jonathan had had made. Yes, that's right, after almost 6 years of marriage, 2 deployments, and a new addition to our family, Jonathan proposed to me again :) What a great way to start our new life in the special forces world!

How could I say no to this?!

6 Months!

Well although mom doesn't think I am 6 months until the 24th, every book about babies says I am 6 months already! And I have been a busy little girl lately. Since dad came home we have gone to Hilton Head for a wedding, then moved to Ft. Knox then back to TX for another wedding (Aunt Jessica's). We are now back home and finally got all our stuff from the Army so mom and dad try to unpack everytime I take a nap. Mom is super proud of my development, I am constantly reaching for things, instantly picking them up and bring them to my mouth... mom says something about hand-eye coordination :) I am also on the verge of crawling, I get up on all fours and when I am not rocking back and forth I am scootin backwards... although I still prefer for mom and dad to let me stand and walk while they hold me. I am move around all the time, but then again look at my parents! I am already wearing almost a size 2 shoe thanks to mom's big feet but am still just over 13 pounds so I am only in 0-3 size pants, skirts and shorts. I have my good days and my bad days when it comes to reflux but mom is working hard to keep me happy and keeps trying all different kinds of things to help me out. I struggle making diapers so I am usually fussy with gas. I have moved on passed cereal and am loving bananas and peas, which is probably why I struggle making diapers! I guess that's it for now. It's 10pm and I am still awake so I must try to go to sleep again, at least that's what mom says!
